Tabernacle is committed to total family discipling and we covenant with parents to be partners with them in growing and nurturing their children from birth to adulthood. Our goal is to grow strong healthy children who know and love the Lord and desire to serve Him. To that end, we designed our weekly programming to fit busy family schedules and provide parents with tools they can use at home to reinforce values learned at church.

KidStuf! meets on Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45 am) in room 201 for grades 1-5. It's exciting, interactive and motivating. It starts out with a large group time and then the children disseminate into small groups in classrooms.

KidStuf! includes a weekly incentive plan where kids earn points toward a monthly mission project. One of the point-earning items includes something new- parents and children answering questions e-mailed weekly from the Children's Ministry Director. (To add your e-mail contact Debbie Dodd at ddodd@tbcnn.org.)

KidsPraise! children's church during the worship hour is for children grades 1-3 with a format of games, music and activities that builds on the theme from KidStuf! Children come into worship with their parents and leave midway through the service to room 213 where they can be picked up afterwards.

KidsGo! on Wednesday night kicks off Sept. 10 at 6:30 in room 213. Boys and girls grades 1-5 will learn the books of the Bible, verses and passages in a format similar to Bible Drill that continues building on the weekly theme.

These three programs work in tandem to reinforce a weekly theme without being dull or repetitive.

We also offer home helps with FamilyTimes, an easy to use take-home pack based on the biblical model that home is the primary place where a child learns about God. The pack includes MorningTime cards, a DriveTime CD, Mealtime Notes and BedTime cards to use with your children. Each monthly pack costs $5, and all parents are encouraged to purchase one to use at home.
