  • One City Marathon

The Newport News One City Marathon course runs right past the church on Sun, Mar 1. If you'd like to help out at the water station, go to and enter the Better Impact volunteer portal. All volunteers MUST fil out this form by the city, no exceptions. Arrive prior to 7 am or you may have to park at Sanford Elementary due to street closures.

On that day, TBC will not have Sunday School or worship in the morning. Instead, the church will meet for worship at 4 pm, followed by a covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall. The church will provide fried chicken, bread and drinks. Bring two big covered dishes to share, or just bring yourself if you're a guest. We'd love to have you!
